JROTC: Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps
WRHS Invitational
At Weston Ranch’s 12-team invitational, your Lancer placed 1st in volleyball and 3rd place in Raider challenge (1.5 mile sprint relay, negotiate obstacle course, and Tug of War).
These cadets worked hard and the results showed.
The next competition will be held at EU on 22 Oct. If your cadet is participating in Raider or Color Guard competition then practice will begin in earnest on Monday. All the winning teams from today’s competition will be coming to compete at EU. So, we will have our work cut out for us. Time to get back and work hard again.

- Take the best leadership class in high school and become tomorrow’s leader.
- Simply ask your counselor to sign you up for JROTC. It’s that simple.
- Freshmen get PE credit for JROTC. After one year, JROTC counts as collegiate elective.
- East Union Army JROTC has won national recognition and is one of the top 20 JROTC programs in the country.
- In 2021, our cadets attended a national academic competition in Washington DC.
- In 2022, we were selected by the Army to compete in the National JROTC Fitness Championships held annually in Daytona, FL.
- We do NOT recruit for the military, but if you choose to enlist in the military after high school, you will attain two ranks higher with 2 years in JROTC.
- And finally, you can be part of a winning team in all aspects!
- Email Colonel Tao or Sergeant First Class Moreno if you are interested, and we will get you situated.
- If you have friends in this class, you may ask them to contact the Colonel or they can help you get involved.
